BIRDS is led by choreographer and director Matt Szczerek and takes the themes of injustice and oppression from cult classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. A raw expression of pent up frustration at today's norms and expectations where our wings feel clipped and freedom is a luxury most of us can't afford anymore.

Circus Factory is wheelchair accessible, with a wooden ramp with steel grips leading up to the venue with a wooden grab rail. The toilets in the building are not wheelchair accessible but an accessible portaloo will be available for the duration of the festival.
Guide dogs are welcome throughout the space.
